She’s very passionate about the industry and deeply committed to her work and the families she cares for.Leanne has spent most of her career working in fashion, including 12 years living in Milan and working for some of New Zealand’s top designers. She’s also a member of the Croatian women’s league.

Maryanne started in the funeral industry in 2013 at Manukau Memorial Gardens. She began working at Troup Funerals as a receptionist in 2015, eventually progressing to a funeral director with Davis. The fulfilment she gets from assisting families in honouring their loved ones is what makes her job so special.Maryanne loves rugby league, music, cooking, time with whanau and furthering her knowledge in Te Reo Māori and Tikanga.

Jacqui’s worked for Davis since 2006. When she joined us, she realised that being a Funeral Director was her calling. She finds the honour of assisting families at a time when they are most vulnerable challenging yet rewarding. Having completed her Diploma in Funeral Directing in 2009, she’s proud to be part of this profession in Auckland, where she was born and raised.Jacqui’s other joys include her family, travelling and motorcycling.

His achievements include becoming the President of the New Zealand Embalmers Association and being the current Chair of the Funeral Service Training Trust of New Zealand.Outside of work, John makes time to travel with his wife and referee football.

Kelsey’s story began when a friend pointed out a Davis job advert. Having been intrigued by the funeral industry for some time, she didn’t hesitate to apply.It’s been seven years since she started in the design office. After moving into the role of Workshop Manager, she has joined the funeral directing team to better serve families on the front line.Kelsey’s a keen fisher-woman, jet-skier and Bernese mountain dog owner.

He thinks the funeral industry is really rewarding and gets real satisfaction from meeting new people and helping them plan the best funeral they can.Andrew credits his upbringing on a Puhoi bull farm with where he gets his love of the outdoors – he enjoys sailing and fishing.

Joining Davis as a funeral director fulfilled Rod’s calling to the industry. During his career, Rod has worked as our Pakuranga branch manager before becoming the chapel attendant and cremator operator at Purewa Cemetery and Crematorium. He’s now returned to look after our Henderson branch crematorium.Rod deems it a privilege to be able to attend, in a dignified and caring manner, to this aspect of the funeral process for families.

Troy was introduced to the funeral industry through a school work experience programme. Due to her own personal losses and having spent time with terminally ill children and their bereaved parents, she has an understanding and empathy with grieving families. Donna joined Davis in 2007 as a funeral director, becoming qualified in 2010. Since then, she’s moved into a community outreach role. This includes education; community sponsorships; and organising activities to engage and support people in the months following a loss.She’s an active member of the Red Cross Disaster Welfare Support team, and in any spare time, she enjoys adventures with her husband and their dog.

As a fourth-generation funeral director, it’s in Neil’s blood. Neil began his career in south east London, returning to join the family business in late 1988.Qualifying as an embalmer and funeral director in the 90s, he found a passion in caring for the bereaved as part of the dedicated team at Davis. During his career, he’s given time to the wider industry through the Funeral Directors Association, including time serving as President.Neil’s passions include his family, travel and playing in a band of like-minded mid-life crisis rockers.

As Cedric Little’s son, Craig is literally part of the family. For almost 30 years, he’s worked for Davis where his highlights have included attending to two state funerals: for Sir Edmund Hillary and The Right Reverend Sir Paul Reeves.His role as Managing Director is both challenging and rewarding. He enjoys seeing the staff grow into their roles and progress as they gain experience.To relax, Craig travels extensively, sails and walks the family dog, Cricket.

He loves getting out on his motorbike and catching up with friends for a flat white along the way.
